Korean developer Shift Up promised it’d bring buxom Stellar Blade heroine Eve to its smartphone gacha NIKKE: Goddess of Victory eventually – and now it’s confirmed the collaboration.
A short trailer shows the sword-wielder crash-landing into a demolished urban landscape, before looking down on some Raptures, the robotic antagonists from the mobile game.
While very little has been confirmed, expect Eve to get her own headline banner in the smartphone title, alongside an in-game event, presumably with an all-new storyline. NIKKE: Goddess of Victory is, in essence, a visual novel, with short cover-based shooter segments interspersed throughout.

In an interview earlier in the year, director Hyung-Tae Kim told us of the collaboration: "We’re currently just discussing how we can do this in order to maximise the attractiveness of the event. We’re also considering how we can maximise the synergy between the two titles."
We wouldn’t be surprised if Stellar Blade also received some NIKKE: Goddess of Victory outfits, perhaps inspired by popular characters like Rapi and Red Hood.
There’s no word on a release date for any of the content, but the studio promises this “exciting collaboration” will be outlined in more detail soon. Is this enough to convince you to start building a squad of NIKKEs? Let us know in the comments section below.

A cover-based shooter is already more descriptive of the game in itself since the visual novel format is how pretty much anything mobile delivers the story content. Exceptions like Guardian Tales (available on Switch but originally mobile as well) are quite rare.
@nhSnork True, but not everyone plays these games so they may not be familiar with what these mobile games are like.
I keep thinking that Infinity Nikki is related to NIKKE. Maybe we'll get a PS5 port of the latter?
@ButterySmooth30FPS I asked them and they said no.
Was only a matter of time. Been a little while since I played NIKKE, might have to jump back on.
The livestream was great. SSR Rapi incoming, finally. You would thing the face of the game would have an SSR by now, but she sure did not. Better late than never I supposed.
Oh, and yes, I am excited for the collaboration
There's a lot of gamers that have a lonely problem and Nikke is the proof of that.
I don't play any mobile games, but the more exposure of Eve, the merrier.
Glad I'm saving enough gems for a while.
Bring it
@Dunkin
It sure is fun to make generalizations and assumptions of people based on the games they play.
I must be a boomer, because I don't even look at mobile games.
