Started the new act I've got no voice for Himeko. Anyone have the same issue?

@z0d15g0d I’m assuming you are playing in English. Yes unfortunately some VAs were missing e.g. Himeko and Dan Heng. I believe it’s still related to the actors strike that has caused the same in Genshin, ZZZ etc. though they officially say it’s due to “scheduling conflict”. The only solutions are

• play in another language like Japanese
• wait, don’t play it now, and hope they voice it later. Though not sure that will happen.

At first it was a mild irritation but it’s been going on for months and kinda ruined some pretty epic moments in Genshin. It just takes you out of the moment and rather than thinking about what was happening in the game world I was thinking about strikes and what was happening in the real world. It sucks.

@themightyant The strikes are still going on? I thought that was settled. Yea it does suck as the scenes seem so disjointed. Might just change to a different language in that case.

@z0d15g0d it’s a little unclear which strike is affecting it. The VA Studio that hires the English VAs for Hoyo was under fire for some reason (I think missing payments to VAs, but don’t quote me on it) on top of the larger AI strike. But even when the strikes end there will be a backlog of work for many VAs which may explain the “scheduling conflict” excuse

@themightyant So this is expected to be the case for the foreseeable future then. I hope they get a desirable outcome but Ai is here to stay. I play the finals and I quite like that the Ai gives the play by play on what's going on in the matches to a greater extent than what humans would be able to do.

After losing the 50:50 and pulling Welt i'm undecided whether to double down and go for The Herta. I'm sure there will be enough Jades in this patch to get her... or to save and get someone else with the guarantee. Let me know your thoughts on The Herta as you build and use her + who you team with her.

Playing just a little of the story I want Phainon on drip/attitude alone, but he's not even being drip marketed so it's not going to be until much later maybe 5.2, 5.3+... or perhaps it's all a red herring and he is the bad guy.

@themightyant Haha yea I just lost the 50:50 also and got Bronya . The Herta was fun to play as in the trial. A team of her, Herta and Jade seems like chaotic fun. Is the meta moving away from break as she is a crit character.

@z0d15g0d I'm SURE the meta will move. It's been one of my criticisms with HSR, one i've voiced before, that they can make your DPS fall off a cliff unless you get their signature and Eidolons to try and future proof them. Even DPS that once were the top of the top like Jingliiu, DHIL or Seele are not even in the top 10 DPS anymore in any content, and becoming less relevant in end game content, unless you have those signatures and eidolons to give them that extra 25% - 50+% boost.

I realise it's a tough balance, they want to have people keep pulling new characters, but I feel other games handle this better with less of an extreme drop off. I don't tend to spend much in these games, but this makes me even less likely to spend.

RE: The Herta, I'm really liking her so far. Team wise I'm flipping about between Argenti, E6S5 Clamour Serval and E6S5 Birth of Self mini Herta with S5 Peaceful Day on big Herta. Robin for turn manipulation and Huohuo for energy regen. Aventurine with Gepard LC to trigger his FuA works quite well too.

I'm hoping to get Jade as she's arguably BiS but that's going to be down to 50/50 luck though, Herta was a guarantee after losing 50/50 on Fugue.

@z0d15g0d re: meta. I was playing it today and thinking about the new mechanics like War Armour and Glory. Currently even if a character hits multiple times In the skill or ult it only counts as 1 with these mechanics. That suggests to me if these mechanics become more widespread the direction may be towards having more attacks in a small amount of time, so it’s possible SPD and summons, which will give additional attacks per unit of time, are likely to be prioritised. But maybe it’s something else.

Changed the kit on Argenti/Serval for 4 piece wind set and vonwaq with the 3* Passkey LC and ran them as pure battery for Herta. Still testing but its damn effective. Obviously they do buggerall damage but Herta goes nuts lol.

I played some more of the story and looked at the upcoming characters and between Aglaea and Big Hat Herta I wanted Herta so I went for her and she came a little early. Going to try her with Herta, Himeko, Serval and a few others.

Next to save for Mydei or Phainon.

@themightyant - Nice one on the early! 2x Herta for double Kuru Kuru is such good fun lol. Wind set Serval is very cheap to put together too, as she's only there for battery you don't need to invest in traces at all. Not tested it yet but I'm going to try break team Herta with Himeko's LC on her, Rappa, HMC with DDD LC and Gallagher. Should be interesting if nothing else!

Really enjoyed Amphoreus so far. The story feels a lot more grounded and tangible whereas Penacony tried far too hard to be cryptic and kept adding 11th hour deus-ex-machina reveals, which I wasn't a fan of.

Characters mostly seem great, without knowing anything about their kit I want Phainon and Mydeimos. I don't think I will have enough for Aglaea having lost on Herta. Tribbie will probably end up being an insane support but i'm not usually a fan of the kid-like characters.
I'm still building Big Hat Herta, who is already strong even with a 4-star lighcone, bad relics and incomplete traces. I have mostly been using her with (robot) Herta, Robin and Aventurine. One thing I noticed is that I haven't actually used Robin a lot in story content and her song does start to grate after a while.

LIGHT STORY SPOILERS BELOW

Looking forward to seeing where the rest of 3.x goes. I also like that we don't know who the other heroes / Chrysos Heirs are yet. And I am sure there are some interesting twists and turns in the tale to come.

@themightyant - Yeah I've enjoyed Amphoreus a lot so far, we're going to be here for a long time but first impressions are definitely good. As for new characters I really don't know what to do. Obvious shift is obvious with new path MC but I'm thinking I'll wait it out for a patch or two. I just lost back to back 50/50 on Fugue and Jade, got big hat Herta from the Fugue loss then lost on Jade so sat on a guarantee now.

Had some decent luck on my alt though, hadn't played it for 44 days and got Feixiao's LC and Jade in 30 pulls from 65 LC pity and 10 character pity. Happy enough with that.
